Ailish, Mike & Killian at Rossbeigh

Had a great afternoon recently with Ailish, Mike and Killian at the beach back in Rossbeigh. The guys wanted photographs with Killian but nothing from a studio, which as you know is the market we are onwardly developing, just being out having fun regardless of the weather is a win win situation, for us the natural bond comes shining through in all relationships and for our clients the natural work is a huge plus. The kids well they just remember having a great time with their parents which is what life is all about after all is said and done.

Myself and Ev insist on having the parents in the shots with the kids, because in years to come thats what your children will be looking for from their photographs, this is me with mum & Dad is a phrase I have used often when showing photographs of me when I was a kid as im sure we all have, our children today, especially today with the lifestyles that are being led expect nothing less from us and it is with great pleasure that myself and Ev witness and capture these moments for our clients.

A Day at the Races

We have had a great spell of weather lately and last weekend we found ourselves in Caherciveen completly by accident on the same day as their annual legendary race meeting. The meeting is ran on a track outside the town on a wonderful point out in the bay, which now has houses built around the place, so the jockeys find themselves literaaly racing around the houses, but it is all good fun and one of the last bastions of Irish life from an age not to long ago.

Puck

I found myself around Killorglin in Co Kerry on Monday with an hour to spare so I wandered down to the Horse Fair just outside of town.

Puck is the oldest Pagen Fair in Ireland if not Europe which dates back some 900 years and Monday was the first day, which always traditionally starts with the horse fair. Peple from the the world over arrive on whats known as gathering day for the 3 day festival.

I dearly would have loved to have spent more time there this year the craic was just great, I grabbed these images in the hour that I was there and hopefully from these you will pick up the atmosphere that was around the place.
